Why has a Swedish millionaire pharma mogul funded the Lib Dems with over £1million since 2013-14? People expect influence for that kind of money.

Well done, Jean Hatchet, for spotting this.

A pharmaceutical firm that markets drugs used in gender-identity clinics to delay puberty has given £100,000 to the Liberal Democrats.

Let me correct that.

A pharmaceutical firm that markets drugs used in gender-identity clinics to delay puberty has given nearly £1.5 million to the Liberal Democrats over the last 6 years.

I suspect there are a number of people who find it uncomfortable to sit down due to the thickness of bank notes in their back pockets.

Should we remind ourselves what Lupron does?

Thank you for the share. Thank you to The Times and thanks to Jean.

Finally, sunlight.

Here's a reminder also of the long term.impact of taking lupron:
www.revealnews.org/article/women-say-drug-used-to-halt-puberty-has-ruined-their-lives/

^ Sharissa Derricott, 30, prepares her afternoon medication at her parents’ home in Lawton, Okla. After taking Lupron from age 5 to 12 to shut down early puberty, she’s been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition. Her teeth are shedding enamel and cracking.

“It just feels like I’m being punished for basically being experimented on when I was a child,” said Derricott, of Lawton, Oklahoma. “I’d hate for a child to be put on Lupron, get to my age and go through the things I have been through.”^

Don’t get mixed up - the pharma that has funded the Lib Dems markets triptorelin, not lupron.

Smashing work getting this out there though. Wonder why the story is only about the single most recent donation though?

"Industry standards21 judge the usage of Lupron in treating gender dysphoria as providing at best no proven benefit and hold that there is an insufficient quantity of published evidence to prove its safety for this purpose.  UnitedHealthcare, the nation’s largest insurer, makes its stance clear on Lupron for usage in treating gender dysphoria on their Drug Policy page:22

‘Hayes compiled a Medical Technology Directory on hormone therapy for the treatment of gender dysphoria dated May 19, 2014.  Hayes assigned a rating of D2, no proven benefit and/or not safe, for pubertal suppression therapy in adolescents. This rating was based upon insufficient published evidence to assess safety and/or impact on health outcomes or patient management.’

A D2 rating is the lowest rating possible on that particular institution’s scale of safety and efficacy.  The Hayes Technology Review is considered to be the industry standard in linking treatments with patient outcomes."

Thanks for pointing that out but to be honest Cwenthryth, a political party who are advocating so very much for the whole trans cult, Lupron is a part of it even if not directly in this situation.

They're indirectly advocating for it to be normal for children to 'be trans' and for some children and some parents that will mean through these drugs, in very simplistic terms.

Lupron is in the same class of drugs as Triptorelin (GnRH agonists).

Triptorelin is the drug used in the UK for blocking puberty in children who identify as transgender.

Not saying one is any better or worse than the other, I don’t know, but accuracy is important.

I couldn’t vote for Lib Dems anyway, way before this, but this really is a massive red flag. And their defence to concerns about the £100k recent donation is, well they’ve been supporters for a long time. Yes, to the tune of £1.4m!!!!
