'Adult uterus'd people'

twitter.com/Anyechka/status/1097707718041878529?s=20

That is the clunkiest, worst use of language I have ever seen.

As someone on the twitter thread has said: all that pink but they can't bring themselves to use the word 'woman'.

uterus'd

Slogan for "Surrogacy for Transwomen" campaign in 2021:
"It's not a Uter-U, it's a Uter-Us!"

Later repurposed for the successful campaign to ban abortions without consent of the sperm donor in 2025.

People people people

The word woman never to be mentioned again for fear someone might get a hurty feel

Given that I'd have thought abortion figures would include post-pubescent girls, I think the word they need there is 'females'.

Females - women and girls.

Did those stats actually exclude women who've had a hysterectomy?

No. Smile

Sadly I find myself just saying "people" all the time now automatically to avoid being accused of being a transphobe in my own house. It's an insidious process.

I have had three children. I have also had my uterus removed. along with a massive fibroid which was making my life hell.

Does that mean I'm a man?

''You have three possibilities to choose from, they are all completely valid''.

Who the fuck talks like that in real life?

userschmmozer Nobody does, especially if you were a TOP counsellor as I was many years ago. How you talked with the women depended upon how they framed the conversation.
Women find themselves pregnant, no one else.

Hahaha no.

I'm sure some transwomen would still appropriate it too, saying 'I just don't have mine implanted yet'

The point is to erase the ability to name any distinction, that's why the only 'valid' terms now are degrading ones.

I'd be happy to donate my uterus complete with fibroids so that someone can get to really feel some of what if feels like to be a woman.

That photograph is great, Milk.

My vagina and uterus live inside a woman, me, so I shall call myself a woman. Synecdoche is not necessary. If anyone wants to address my body parts they can do it through me, so my name will do under those circs. I do rather object to people talking about or to my body parts though, unless it’s a doctor and we’re discussing my health, so it’s really not an issue.
