entitled 'Supporting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Young People - Information for Foster Carers’. During May 2016 Three Circles Fostering met with some individuals who highlighted the need for more training and awareness specifically for care professionals in how to support and care for trans young people in care.

"Davies-Arai (founder Transgender Trend] says her broader concern is that by affirming students’ gender identity, schools may be nudging them down a route that can lead to cross-sex hormones and life-changing surgery without enough time to reflect. Teachers, she says, “are essentially being forced to collude in an experimental approach towards children with gender dysphoria”. She adds: “You can support children and accept them, without affirming their belief that their body is ‘wrong’.”

Adele Robinson (not her real name), a head of year at a secondary school, shares Davies-Arai’s worries. The school has had 12 children, all girls, come out as transgender in the past 18 months. The majority, she says, have autism, and some have experienced sexual abuse.

When they come out, she says, they have brought in information sourced from Tumblr blogs and YouTube videos. Although her team does its best to “support every child in a loving, kind and compassionate way”, she feels that staff are too frightened to challenge what she sees as harmful practices: “We have chest binders worn in school, which is horrible. If a child was cutting, they would be straight in with a counsellor. Yet damaging developing breast tissue goes unquestioned. It’s a gross failure in terms of child protection.”

Green (Mermaids CEO) disagrees, and argues for a biological underpinning to transgender identity: “If a child or young person consistently, insistently and persistently states their feelings, to ignore, punish or repress their gender identity would effectively be reparative therapy.”

August 8th 2018 Report of the sexual assault of two girls aged 10 & 12 in supermarket toilets by a 17 year old.

The article uses gender neutral descriptors and 'their' pronoun except for reported speech which describes the person as appearing and sounding male.

The person convicted had "been in the social care system from the age of three and had been actively engaging with mental health services." & is decribed as having been accompanied to the supermarket by a carer:

"The 17-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court and admitted voyeurism and sexual assault charges.

The teenager followed a young girl into the toilets at the Halbeath Asda store in Dunfermline on February 8 this year and filmed her on a mobile phone.

Depute fiscal Sarah Lumsden told the court the accused had been to the toilets with a carer and was walking towards the exit when the young child walked past.

Miss Lumsden said: “The accused (said their) mobile phone was still in the toilets and returned to them, alone.

“The young girl was in a cubicle and was sitting with her leggings and pants down when she saw a hand holding a mobile phone over the partition wall.

“The girl shouted and the person rushed out of the adjacent cubicle.”

The young girl then left the toilets and was described as looking “shocked”. The matter was reported to the police who retrieved in-store CCTV footage from the time of the incident.

Investigators were able to identify the teenager, whose accommodation in Kirkcaldy was searched.

A 12-second video clip of the girl on the toilet, followed by footage of the teenager running away, were recovered when an iPad and a mobile phone were seized.

A second incident took place at the Morrison’s store in Kirkcaldy on March 4.

The court was told a 10-year-old girl had been inside the toilets while her father waited outside.

Miss Lumsden said: “The complainer’s dad then heard his daughter screaming and came running out of the bathroom, looking as if she was running away from someone.

“She explained that a crazy man with long hair was in the bathroom and had grabbed her face and pushed her into a cubicle, before demanding she take her trousers off.

“She said the person had said they would stab her mum. She was upset and inconsolable.”

Police officers attended and found the cubicle locked inside the female toilets.

A male voice was heard coming from inside, saying: “I’ve been silly. I bumped into her. I’ve been silly.” (continues)

The case was ajourned for pre-sentence reports so it may be that.

It may (should?) be the case that as the young person convicted has Care involvement there will be a serious case review.

Important update on the case raised previously on the thread and confirmation that the perpetrator of sexual assaults on two young girls in supermarket toilets was male.

As well as the risks to girls and vulnerable women, the case should also ask questions of the dangers of influence of trans rights activism on looked after children and the organisations supporting them. Transactivism is informed by an individualistic 'rights' approach which can damage Safeguarding and Child Protection frameworks.

This systemic failure puts both vulnerable young people in the care system and as seen by this case children and women at risk.

"Dolatowski, 18, sexually assaulted the girl in the toilets of Morrisons, Kirkcaldy.

She grabbed the terrified youngster by the face, shoved her into the cubicle and ordered her to remove her trousers.

But instead of being jailed at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court, Dolatowski, who identifies as a woman but was believed by her victim’s family to be a man, was given community payback and tagging orders.

The mum felt “very, very let down” and said: “I don’t have any confidence whatsoever that he will not go out and do something equally as bad or worse.”

The girl had been sledging when the assault occurred on March 4, last year, a month after Dolatowski had filmed a 12-year-old girl on the toilet in another supermarket in Dunfermline.

When she came out of her cubicle, Dolatowski shoved her back in and told her there was a man outside who would kill her mother.

The brave schoolgirl, however, punched Dolatowski in the face, stomach and groin and ran to her father and siblings waiting just outside the toilets.

Her mother said the girl was hysterical after the attack and continued to suffer flashbacks.

She said: “This is something that will remain with her for the rest of her life.

“He was stalking the toilets. He went there specifically to attack a child.

“We were so, so lucky that nothing worse happened. It was only her reaction that stopped that. It could have been a five-year-old child that wouldn’t have been able to fight back.”

The court heard Dolatowski had been in the social care system since the age of three and had mental health issues.

But the mother said: “A lot of people have been in care but they do not go out and assault children.

“I don’t care that he has issues or what his background is, he is a paedophile and he has been let out on a supervision order.”

Dolatowski admitted sexually assaulting the girl and following another girl into the toilets at Asda Halbeath, Dunfermline, on February 8, and trying to film her urinating by holding her mobile phone over the cubicle partition.

Banning her from having contact with children, Sheriff James Williamson gave her what he described as a “stringent” community-based sentence, allowing her to be released from Polmont Young Offenders Institution to supported accommodation." (continues)

Am going to use 'we' instead of them to refer to the population covered here even though am obviously an adult. So as a population throuhot our we are almost guaranteed to have major identity issues, pretty much all of us, I manage mine as an adult with reflection and am pretty much ok I think, but that is not the case for a lot of us. We have a much hugher risk than average of mental health issues, drug issues, interactiona with state institutions like prison, lose our kids more easily, nd the reason is that the very simple. We have a higher chance of havin had abusive relationshis being the basis of what we model our own identities around and we have institutions as part of it. The notion that we should be affirming children and young people with these factors with a 'hang it all on here' fix of being trans is appalling. Beyond appalling. A young person who has splintered their identity and is exhibiting an identity disorder around gender and sex is telling you something serious as fuck. That we have handed this to young people as a fix all plaster is serious as fuck. The encroachment of this shit onto young people and kids is serious as fuck and there is no excuse for this, not legally, not morally, not anyway.

So Dolatowski demonstrates (as Karen White has) that some TW are sexual offenders who have specifically used access to women's facilities and females in a vulnerable state in order to sexually offend.

Or, if as was argued about White, Dolatowski is not a TW but has appropriated the identity in order to offend, then it is demonstrated that sex offenders have specifically used a trans identity to access females in a vulnerable state in order to offend.
