well if we're doing cartoons, this one is grimly good too

I don't get yours wakame - where's the funny? Or is it a 'funny old world' style funny, where even people who are coming from diametrically opposed reasoning can come to the same result?

I laughed too.

Then thought I should add information which points to how satirical this is:
From Fairplay for Women (who are crowdfunding )

"Like A Thief In The Night: The Scottish Bill That Stole The Word Woman
Law reforms Silencing women Women's rights

Last year while we were all looking the other way and distracted by the UK government’s proposals to reform the Gender Recognition Act the word woman was stolen from us. It was sneakily done by the Scottish parliament and hidden behind a smoke screen. That smoke screen was The Gender Representation on Public Boards Bill.

The Bill introduced the ‘gender representation objective’ – a target that women should make up 50% of non-executive board membership.

The purpose of this bill was admirable. It was to help women overcome the institutional sexism we suffer due to our sex. Positive action to redress the imbalances that have arisen from centuries of historical disadvantage. It was to acknowledge the reality that institutionalised inequality and sexist attitudes stop most women from reaching their full potential in public life. Financial barriers, income inequality, the gender pay gap, sexist attitudes, gender stereotyping, women’s disproportionate share of caring responsibilities, the undervaluing of women’s paid work, and media portrayals of women, to name but a few influences, all play a role in the sexism that prevents a fair number of women being involved in public life.

But in a cruel twist of irony it was also to be the perfect trojan horse to steal the very meaning of the words woman and female from us." (continues)

'Everyday Feminism'? Not a well regarded publisher in these parts. But please go ahead and explain the joke. Nobody likes an echo chamber.

Is the punchline that 'conservative Christians' are inherently too nasty to be associated with? That would seem rather hateful to me.

An interesting selection of jokes. In all but one, the joke was based on "look at the wrong things these people are saying or doing". The exception was "this person must be wrong because of who they are, irrespective of the merits of what they're saying".

Can you guess which is the trans ally joke?

Thank you Amanda!! I was just about to go off and search for that very diagram.

Yes. God forbid anyone strikes up a conversation or finds any common ground with a 'wrong thinker'

I bet they hang up their washing wrong too, and have loo brushes and everything.

I find it discombobulating that I share opinions with religious fundamentalists, the daily mail and the telegraph. It is a strange time for sure. I find humour the only way to stay sane.

Ha, Wakame - it's funny because that transwoman in the flowers is worried about the other person in trousers right?

I mean, it's not really funny.. more worrysome that the transwoman thinks it's OK to look over the barrier - which generally are much too high to look over for me, even if I did stand on the toilet (and how unhygeinic to stand on a toilet!)

Private Eye had one a few weeks back about Hampstead Ladies Pond. It made me laugh but they got stick for it. Unfortunately I failed to rescue it before the organ went for recycling. Does anyone here have it? May be high risk though in the current circs.

Interesting. The first cartoon is a parody of entitled male behaviour, a group of the ones posted as a response are a parody of how trans activists think women behave towards them.
