Self ID isn't about transgender people at all. It's about safeguarding, it's about the potential for abuse. If any man can claim to be a woman without even changing his appearance, how can we tell the difference between so-called genuine transgendered individuals and the abusers? The fact that these two women gained access to the men's so easily shows how quickly self ID can be abused.
