Trangenderist argues against transrace (unintentionally hilarious)

This is very funny from a transactivist. Their lack of insight into their own ideology is hilarious.

No More Rachel Dolezals

genderanalysis.net/2017/03/no-more-rachel-dolezals/

Some quotes and comments:

"This is a person who tries to claim solidarity with black people, while her actions demonstrate anything but. " Ahem

"She seemingly exhibits no awareness that the very people she claims to identify with do not have access to the preposterous choices she’s made – black men and boys who are killed by police are not afforded the option of “identifying” their way out of racist profiling and violence." Amm...

"Instead, she shows an ongoing, almost pathological need to take the spotlight away from real issues and seize it for herself." Cough cough

" If this person were truly dedicated to fighting for racial justice, she would realize that she’s nothing but a malignant distraction." Transphobia alert.

"Her presence has done nothing to advance conversations on race or identity; if anything, her race-faking act seems only to have muddled many white people’s understanding of racial issues." Well, now that you mention it...

"She is a white person promoting misconceptions of race among white people – she is not acting in solidarity with anyone when they keep having to clean up after the discursive wreckage she leaves in her wake. " Not like transgenderists at all then..

"And if you choose to compare trans people to this, knowing what this real example of “identifying as another race” actually looks like, you are simply choosing to insult us"

Excuse me?

lol, yes I think one of the reaons transrace is not taken seriously is because it would equally have a negative impact on men, who speak out and are listened to

Naah. This wasn't word soup. It needs a stronger dash of incoherence! This actually made sense.... till you hit the last paragraph.

Change the last paragraph to something like the below and it's actually a great article....

Transgenderism compares directly to this as it is the appropriation of the outward symbols of an oppressed class by the oppressor class. It muddies the waters around issues that women face (sexual abuse, Fgm etc. ) and obfuscates the statistics that underpin any efforts to fight the same. Society will be cleaning up the mess long after law suits by children rendered infertile by puberty blockers have been settled in the courts.

"Gender is given at birth, but race is generational. I was accidentally assigned male, but as a white person I could never accidentally inherit the generational trauma and socioeconomic oppression imposed on black people. That’s why transness is a thing and Rachel Dolezal isn’t."

If Rachel Dolezal and all about her is such a nonsense, the author wouldn't feel compelled to go so much on the attack and speak about Dolezal with such vitriol. I'm put in mind of the parable of the mote and the beam.

The arguments in the article:
It's difficult to answer so it must be a dishonest question.
There a many many many more times trans people than there are Dolezals.
Everyone is just about to think trans people are wonderful and this might spoil that view.
Dolezal is doing bad things. Dolezal is bad.
