Hello!

I am a member of The Parliament Project, a non-partisan organisation which runs free workshops and webinars to support and encourage women to get involved in politics. Together with our webinars, we also run online peer support circles for women to connect and exchange with peers to explore and plan their pathway to politics.

Our next workshop will take place in Aberdeen on the evening of the 20th February. We will explore the stages involved in getting elected; joining a party, becoming an activist, through to selection and election and explore how women can best prepare for this role. Our guest speaker Cllr Isobel Davidson, Liberal Democrat Councillor for Ellon and District will share why she wanted to get involved in politics and what it took to get there.

You can book here: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/exploring-your-political-pathway-aberdeen-tickets-38437935901

We will also have a workshop in London the 10th March at the Women of the World Festival, and several other workshops throughout the year in England and Scotland.

If you cannot come to one of our workshops, you can also attend our webinars. The recording of the first one is available online, the next one is on the 2nd March.
