Some brave LP feminist members have launched a GoFundMe to challenge this edict on the basis that it is in violation of the Equality Act 2010, which allows certain services and posts to be reserved solely for women.

Transactivists and assorted other types are Not Happy.

The donations have gone stellar.

Some people donated in fake and funny names.

Fortheloveofscience I was feeling a bit downcast. Then I realised that people are still reading/liking/retweeting what I have said on twitter and the QC is looking very spineless but admits he is still pretty much on side - and then i upped my donation, the crowdfunder has now crept up to 992 donors - it is all okay.

Just a blip. And these TRAs have gone into overdrive!

All Monroe has done is get some donations refunded to people who will no doubt donate again.

I did donate again using the same card (with different name and email) and it did go through. Anonymous of course.

Fact is, even if I do get refunded again, I'll get DH to make the donation on his card, the great old Terf that he is.

It amazes me the amount of scrutiny they are able to give to things like this. Surely there have been donations made to other fund raisers in joke names of famous people. I've never seen this much fuss made ever about anything.

I donated in my own name though but was tempted to donate again using the name "Pink News led me here". Do you think that would have been allowed?
