The Matriarchy - An Urgent Appeal(16 Posts)
A decade of despair. A financial crisis that has shattered the lives of tens of millions. A savage set of wars and revolutions that have delivered cruelty and killing on an unimaginable scale, and fueled the fires of nihilistic terror. Hundreds of thousands who have been forced from their homes, and lost those they knew and loved. Victims of theft, assault, and murder. A rise in xenophobia that has seen us burn the bridges between ourselves and build instead walls that keep us apart. Revelations of massive sexual abuse across all nations, with the perpetrators representing every section of society.
We cannot go on like this. Enough is enough. Yes, we have been here before, and we have survived. Crucially though, what is different today is the prevalence of powerful and power-mad demagogues who value their egos above all else, and have at their disposal weapons of mass destruction. For the sake of ourselves and our children then something must change, else this planet will soon be a cold, desolate, and lifeless wasteland.
All is not yet lost. For, though most of us do not currently know it or believe it, the power to survive and thrive is yet in our hands. We can achieve a brighter future, and we can in fact build it in the space of only one generation.
A popular saying defines madness as the doing of the same thing over and over again yet expecting different results. And while it is true that throughout human history we have flirted with any number of political and economic systems, one thing has always remained ever constant: the rule of men. If we are to have a chance at a brighter world then, the rule of men must end, once and for all.
There has never been a better time. For if recent events have taught us anything, it is that it only requires the slimmest of voting majorities to overturn an old order. In our case, this voting majority already exists: women. And it is with this in mind that the Dom Party has been established - a movement dedicated to one purpose and one purpose alone: the disempowerment of men; an end to the Oldest Order.
Put simply, the Dom Party believes in one man one vote, one woman two votes. And we intend to exploit the democratic process to achieve such.
There will be those who may argue that such a thing is not fair. To that charge we answer that whether we find ourselves in a time of war or peace women and girls have always and overwhelmingly been the losers; the first to suffer violence, deprivation and degradation, and the last to share in any political or economic spoils. And all things being equal such a situation is set to continue for centuries.
But we shall not last so long.
The disempowerment of men is the first and wholly necessary step then to finally delivering justice to the women and girls of this world, as well as safeguarding our species from extinction.
Painful experience has taught us that a separation of powers is necessary for preventing abuse, exploitation, and injustice. Church and State. Police and Military. Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. Yet we have never applied this same principle to gender, when to do so ought to have been obvious. Due to factors of physicality and aggression, men control the private sphere and perhaps always will. They must not therefore control the public sphere. Only then can balance be achieved.
Make no mistake though: the disempowerment of men is also the first and wholly necessary step to delivering justice to everyone, irrespective of gender. For women and girls have always cared for and protected their male counterparts, even when they had every right not to do so, even when that care and protection was not reciprocated. So shall they continue with the transference of public power. For the downtrodden men of this world, be assured that the women and girls understand and appreciate your sorry situation better than any man. They too have been humiliated all their lives, and in truth they are the only ones able to deliver you respite. For if your fellow men had any interest in such a thing, you would have had it by now.
The first step is always the hardest, and even after such is taken, the path ahead will of a certainty be fraught with difficulties. As you walk it and encourage others to do likewise, powerful forces shall align against you. But so too will powerful allies flock to your side. And, when all is said and done, it is we who shall stand triumphant.
A brighter future is in your hands. All that is needed from you is that you finally and truly start believing in your own power, and that you give that gift of belief to others. Join us. We need you. We are nothing without you.
<dons hard hat, fires up the VPN> I'm going in folks. If you don't hear from me again, someone tell DP that when he next forgets his PIN, I have it written down in my diary under the name 'J.Johnson'
Will do menthol
Good luck <salutes>
Hmmm.. well. domain registered by a bloke in Birmingham, looks like someone trying to do one of those weird internet mystery games.
Nothing to see here.. not even a decent level of crazy or inventive.
Actually its probably just as well...i really need to get in with 'stuff' this afternoon
<shines nails> I already crossed 6 big things off my to-do list this morning, so I'm feeling ahead of the game.. but yes, I should be working too.
Oooh well done
I need to have a coffee...thatll be another thing off the list
Actually maybe I should pare down my lists
I'm a it confused. The above and the website (as painful as it is) are not that different from 80s cultural feminism. I thought I 'got it' on that level. It was a bit of a blast from the past. Do people think it is something different - I.e. a bloke pretending to be a woman?
YetAnotherSpartacus The name is a vital clue methinks.
''The disempowerment of men''. the Dom party.
I really dont think I could squeeze into leather jeans at my circumference.
Oh ... I thought it was 'Development of Matriarchy'.
Ive no idea yet
I did think and then menthol had a look and said it was something of nothing...so i didn't look
'Put simply, the Dom Party believes in one man one vote, one woman two votes.'
Bollocks did 80s feminism ever say anything like that.
This has fear and loathing of women written right through it.

I thought this was advocating one woman two votes, not critiquing it?
