This is a video produced by #transrightsarehumanrights

TBH I wish we were as organised as this video depicts, I am also heartened that the creator doesn't seems to quite realise just how many of us there are.

I love the fact they are using a 'sock' account to post that! Grin

As for the 'attacks on men' at the beginning they forgot one; women used to pay to go in to a porn film, sit in the audience and scream along with the actress on the screen.
Not sure why they're so keen to put that in a film about trans rights though.

Oh my, the music. That's just fabulous.

(I love the idea of concreting up the bogs...)

There were only 3 of them, like 3 Wise WImmin Sad

But since they were using 'sock puppets' it looked like there were a lot more of them and thats how they managed to picket Greenham Common for ten whole fucking years Grin

Oh my GOD that's brilliant. I have to admit my main emotion throughout was "I BLOODY LOVE LINDA BELLOS".

That’s hilarious. But it’s also deeply disturbing. This is just hate speech really. Are there any records or reports of feminists physically harming trans people?

It’s like if they shout it loud enough it becomes fact. I saw on twitter earlier that apparently DrRadfem won’t be happy until she’s abused a tw to death. Seriously? Oh and that her misgendering of LM is a hate crime. People on twitter have said they are calling the police. For calling a man in a dress, with no GRC, a man.

It’s gone fucking banaynay and I’m more than a bit scared by the whole thing.

The posters at the service station were hilariously unscary too.

It is like extreme paranoia mixed with monty python.

I am waiting for JB and LB to start burning down shops that sell ladies' shoes in large sizes, and block their toilets with concrete............. Confused

If anyone's not yet caught the marvellous Julie Bindel and Linda Bellos and others in the Angry Wimmin documentary featured above, it's here:

That’s hilariously bad. I got bored waiting for the sinister thing .... that turned out to be a poster at a motorway service station. It’s not exactly Stephen King’s latest is it Grin

About a quarter of the way through. Could someone explain however what is the difference between Julie Bindel berating heterosexual women for not being lesbians and Riley Dennis berating lesbians for not considering a trans lesbian partner?

What bollocks. I love the way that TRAs claim to be the champions of intersectionality ... until a black lesbian disagrees with them.

Lass I guess it's about the power dynamics. Lesbians were never oppressors, while penis havers have been pressuring/forcing women to accept their penis since the beginning of the time?

This is ridiculous!!!!! Also off topic but also on topic does anyone have a link to the bit in the GRA about lowering the age of consent for surgery? I know I've read about it but now can't find it

Hmm. Whilst I think Dennis is an idiot Bindel's hectoring tone and her claim that sexuality is a social construct are no better.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 14/12/2017 13:57

I admire a lot of what Julie Bindel has done, but the idea that sexuality is a social construct is problematic. Of course, lesbians have never been oppressors, but the argument does suggest that women choose to be gay, and the logical conclusion to that is that women who stick with heterosexuality are in some complicit in their oppression. It comes from a different angle to Riley Dennis, but it's still effectively blaming women.
