I've seen a few questions looking for reliable stats on this topic. I've struggled to find good data, especially data which breaks down victims by demographic for meaningful cross comparison.

This article has some more sources and is one of few I've seen trying to break the data down. There are also comments refuting/adding to the interpretation.

Happy to add although the stats I linked to were not UK specific and when I looked at that thread it was UK focused.
