Very poorly thought of amongst wider GP community - which is saying something, you have to make big waves for others to be aware of you given the nature of the specialty, and benefit of the doubt seems to be the default option for colleagues.

Dr W also says that babies should not be 'assigned a gender at birth' 🙄 Which is fine 'cos they aren't - their Sex is recorded

Are you sure? I don’t think Helen Webbeet was born male. I think you are mixing her up with another doctor, who is definitely trans.

On the GenderGP site, there is a blog post by Dr Webberley called When I was young that would indicate the Dr was indeed male, either that or its a complete fabrication to appeal to clients

Bela, based on the ages give in that piece and the references to the internet etc I think the blog piece is supposed to be by one of Dr Webberly's patients. It isn't clear but as Dr W left high school in 1987 (and was at Queen Ethel burg which is a girls school) then it is unlikely she was making internet friends in 1989/90. It is confusing that there is no attribution of the article.
