Children dont have a gender, they have a sex. They need a sex for medical reasons.
They can decide their orientation after puberty, and that does not need to be on their birth certificate or any other record.

Yeah, this is really stupid. The height of stupidity. Doctors need to know and identify biological sex in order to treat effectively.

Also, this woman did the most female thing you can do, give birth. Yet, she's essentially refusing to recognise that biological sex exists, that women bear children.

But the trans obviously have a different idea of what "female" means.

Transmen who give birth want to use their reproductive organs and opt out of the oppression at the same time.

Which I wouldn't have a problem with (in fact, it is what feminism wants!), except that by their transition and especially the transwacktivism surrounding that transition, they advertise their opinion that it is all fine to oppress OTHER women. Just not them.

(I'd have more sympathy for them if they just shut up and tried to pass, really. There are a lot of good reasons to want to pass as male in a patriarchy, and possbily those advantages outweight the risks. But this attention-seeking behaviour sends quite a misogynist message to other women, and it also endangers the lives of all those women who took testosterone in order to pass. A woman with a beard is only safe from male sexual violence as long as everyone thinks she has a penis.)
