Jessa Crispin - "Why I'm not a Feminist"

Just heard a podcast with Jessa Crispin and bought her book on the back of it. She seems very radical (politically and socially) so I think it's going to be a n uncomfortable challenging as well as thought provoking read. Has anyone else heard/read her work?

@VestalVirgin thanks for that link. I haven't come across a critique of the book.
What You posted in the link is what I thought too from reading her interview. Some people made similar points too. More along the lines of not offering any ideas of what can be done.
Nor does she offer any historical or political context for the problems she believes exist in feminism. Crispin seems to have limited her “investigation” of feminism’s flaws to mainstream media representations and a very tiny circle of people much like herself: white, middle class women working in the New York publishing industry. Ironically, while this limited vision made for a very limited “manifesto,” as she calls it, it’s also what enabled Crispin to receive incredibly wide coverage in the mainstream media. It seems she herself benefited and took full advantage of the very privileges she complains dominate feminism today, in order to sell a baseless attack on the movement.

Never heard of her, what was the podcast?

Never heard of her until about a fortnight ago. Is she famous? Done anything? Is there any reason to pay attention to her?

I hadn't heard of her before the podcast, Lass, which is why I'm going to read the book and see what she has to say.
