I am hoping it is not a real add, it is actually DH that brought it to my attention. I just has to be a joke.

ChuckDaffodils Tue 21-Mar-17 19:48:43

Really? Good grief.

Jermajesty Tue 21-Mar-17 19:48:52

I've just Googled this, in horror, and it looks like it's a fake, thankfully.

PurpleDaisies Tue 21-Mar-17 19:49:09

There's no way that's a real advert.

BaggyCheeks Tue 21-Mar-17 19:49:34

It's fake. "Pre Owed", anyone?

justdontevenfuckingstart Tue 21-Mar-17 19:50:18

it's a fake, a quick google search brings it up.

MirenaCoy Tue 21-Mar-17 19:52:45

What a relief, certainly got me going there, was absolutely furious. Thank you all.

PurpleDaisies Tue 21-Mar-17 19:53:13

Did you seriously think it was real? confused

MirenaCoy Tue 21-Mar-17 19:56:27

aah! but after a bit of googling i have found that this one was real. The same tagline was used in 2008. I just don't understand how advertising companies get away with this, how?

MirenaCoy Tue 21-Mar-17 19:57:42

Previously used by BMW.

AssassinatedBeauty Tue 21-Mar-17 19:58:44

Is it me or does the model in your second picture look extremely young?

Was this a UK advert? In print or on advertising hoardings?

MirenaCoy Tue 21-Mar-17 20:03:38

Extremely young? No, i don't think so, i thought she looked a bit like Mariah Carey actually, not that she is but just that she is obviously an adult. The source doesn't say where the advert was used although a similar one with the same tag line was used in Ontario for two adverts featuring a woman and a man separately.

AssassinatedBeauty Tue 21-Mar-17 20:08:36

I must be getting old as she looks like a teenager to me. I'm sure she's old enough to be in the ad though, I'm not suggesting they've used a 14 yr old model or anything.

originalbiglymavis Tue 21-Mar-17 20:09:20

She looks very young to me.

TheSmallClangerWhistlesAgain Tue 21-Mar-17 23:15:43

Neither is "official" advertising material from the companies concerned. The Aston Martin one was something one dealer commissioned off their own bat. It's crap though.
Not sure about BMW, but Aston Martin has a very defined set of brand values that does not include T&A.
