Make sure you're extra violent, and you target the vulnerable.That way, they'll be too traumatised to testify, and you get to walk away, scot-free.http://i.stuff.co.nz/world/australia/90666389 This is the message this sends.How is this possible, though?People who've been murdered can't testify for obvious reasons, and yet those responsible can still be prosecuted for their crime.Why is this seemingly not possible in the case of rape? Is this peculiar to the Australian legal system, or is this something we should all be worried about?
