Do you think the typical audience of that show would agree with the presenters?

Sorry but she is what she looks like.. a non-passable man in a wig with lots of airbrushing.

Presumably some of this modern guff about being brave enough to be true to themselves. Instead of being brave enough, as a child even, to go to school despite death threats. And then to continue to speak out about education for girls after recovering from being shot in the head.

Of all the women who could have been used as an example of brave women on international women's day, they picked Kaitlyn Jenner, a man!!!!
That really shows our place in society eh??

Caitlin Jenner hasn't done anything remotely brave or courageously. The media will have been bombarded with reminders that 'tw are real women' and they don't want the criticism of excluding them.

Nobody thinks cj is brave its just a box ticking exercise that avoids controversy. A box ticking exercise that's patronising to cj and insulting to women.

It was pretty inevitable that IWD would be manipulated into ITWD.

Grin

Caitlyn Jenner is an arse who is quite unpleasant to her children and their mothers.

What example of Caitlin Jenner's bravery did they give?

I'm going to guess not the time she slammed her car into another car killing an elderly woman.. and then tried to sue her family over it..

We cant call ourselves mothers - because woman in mens bodies might be offended
We cant take part in our own sports - again because a woman in a mans body is offended and insist on taking part
And now we cant even be awarded for something brave - without a bloke coming along and picking up the title

I wonder (genuinely) how long it will take for someone to come out that they are really a kangaroo in a humans body and insist on being treated like a kangaroo (any animal for those who want to pick) and will sue anyone who says otherwise- the world gone mad why cant people be just happy with their own personality and bodies

We have these already. Also trans-abled, trans-racial and otherkin (like you described, but mythical creatures Hmm )

All of these^ are very very wrong and should not be pandered to and are mentally ill. Only transgender is to be taken seriously. Though noone seems to be able to explain quite why...

What the fuck?

The widower whose deceased wife got the Woman of the Year award for ... I don't know, I think she was a firefighter? Like, she was really brave.

Anyway, he returned the award because they were making a mockery of this brave woman by giving the same award to Jenner who is neither anything special nor, you know, a woman.

And instead of including this actually brave woman, again, men come first.

It is fucking disgusting.

Everytime I think of him I just think of south park.

Eh, he is brave, when men claim to be women whilst still very much looking like men it's brave, because they're challenging beauty perceptions dontcha know, extra points for beard and flowery dress combo. ( actual women better not think of leave the house without shaving their legs or armpits and wear lots of pretty things, if you don't, are you sure you even have a lady brain?)

I must be a man because I don't wear heels or dresses that much, or makeup or shave regular enough . Fucking hell Caitlin Jenner is more woman than me..... apart from the little thing called a penis between his legs (until 15th march apparently when its getting chopped off)

Brave? yes is suppose he is brave having to tell his family about his change but definitely not braver than female firefighters or female police officers. They should have given him the "brave person award" rather than label it male or female award if they wanted to go down that road.

I'm inclined to think that the bravest transwomen are those who let it be know that they accept they are not women. The ones who wouldn't want an award which is supposed to be for women.
