I'm not surprised. Most gay-centric (male-centric) organisations have supported gay men over lesbian women and/or ignored or marginalised lesbians. They have a history of not understanding lesbian women and/or seeing women through very similar lenses to straight men. Taking a historical perspective, I see very little awareness of women, gender politics, women's oppression and male privilege. This is just the last chapter...
