This is what male posters often do and this is why we might get short with you.
Don't do this and you will be fine.

I'm not sure the trolls and goady fuckers we've had here recently will take a blind bit of notice, Devi. It's a good article but you need to have the will to read it.

Otoh, at least we can direct them to this thread and ask them to read it before they post again. Worth a punt.

Yeah, I am afraid the goady fuckers know very well that reality is like and wouldn't need to read the article to know that MRA is bullshit.

I do not think that more than perhaps 3% of MRAs really believe the nonsense they spread. They know very well how reality is, they just choose to call it oppression when they aren't allowed to oppress women. They feel entitled to their privilege over women, feel entitled to exploiting women.

Whenever I've read any MRA sites the thing that sticks out is that these guys are total losers. Women don't like them and that, to their mind, is totally unfair. They rage because the women they find attractive aren't interested in them. They have been abysmal husbands and fathers and rant about the unfairness of a system that doesn't allow them to keep on doing that. How dare these women divorce them? How dare the courts read the DV reports? Rinse and repeat.

Oh, and they get all huffy and flounce, calling themselves MGOTW (men going their own way) as if women are going to beg them to reconsider. No, mate, you keep going your own way. Save the women of the world a lot of hassle.

MGTOW - what a bunch of wankers.

Sorry. I'll get my coat...

MGTOW - what a bunch of wankers.

In the literal sense. Or they should be.

Considering that feminists have been fighting for men to leave women the fuck alone (well, those women who wish to be left alone, anyway) for decades, and men never have done so, I am pretty sure that the MGTOW will also not do so. Once they realize that truly "going their own way" will mean losing all that sweet, sweet male privilege, which is paid for by the slave labour of women, they will return. (Or, more likely, after a couple of months they will get bored of wanking. A couple of days if their access to porn featuring women is cut off.)

I read some plan of some very deluded dudes somewhere who wanted to found their own country and ... build a wall around it so that women couldn't get in. Ahahahaha.
(Pretty sure the actual plan was to keep some female prisoners there. Otherwise, why the wall? A knee-high wall and a sign stating who lives there would be plenty enough.)

MGTOW has never bothered me. Plenty of men and women are more than happy without relationships particularly once we've had children. It makes things a lot simpler. Most men do want relationships with women however rather than just have them for sex so I doubt most men would be joining MGTOW groups really.

What, brotherly separatism, forswearing the company of women? Like in, um, Love's Labour's Lost? Now this is Men's Rights Activism done to suit women. Let's encourage these fine fellows!

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 11/02/2017 21:21

MGTOW are exactly the kind of men that women want to see the back of. Sad bastards who are neither use nor ornament.

I suspect they would stop their endeavour once they realize that women approve of it. So I would suggest to not be too obviously in favour. Wink

You could probably dispense with the wall, too.

Thing is, they don't bloody go their own way.

They continue to bother women, demanding our time, attention and energy and don't even realise they're doing it.

If only they would go their own way. I'd even be prepared to pack up a nice batch of sandwiches, naice olives, a packet of crisps and an apple to see them on their way. Maybe a flapjack too. If only they'd be going. But they fucking don't. They're still here, hanging around, talking about going their own way.

No, still fucking here.

Yes it is curious. I'd have thought that most men would be only too glad to fuck off away from you. Throw in a thermos of tea perhaps ?

No men allowed. Do make it clear on the threads where that applies.

I thought that article was really interesting, but it isn't just the men that need to read it. I'm hearing an awful lot of 'but what about the poor men' from women at the moment. It drives me round the bend (well, another bend).

Oh dear I've hurt the men's feelings by posting an article suggesting it isn't all about them. Sorry boys.

If your feelings aren't hurt, why are you so bothered? Surely that article doesn't refer to you and you aren't MGTOW so why?
Or maybe you are MGTOW who likes hanging round on a feminist board Grin
