Might make the penny drop for some people when they see this.

Good God this must be a fucking joke...

Sorry for the gibberish there. Clearly I am a butterfingers today.

Anyway. I don't know if this is true or not but the fact that he could in theory do this might wake people up. I hope.

Absolutely foul.

This is just a natural progression when you have a culture of allowing someone to wake up one morning and decide they're the opposite sex (not gender, if you suddenly decide you're inhabiting the wrong body then you imagine you're the wrong sex); and have the right to do this enshrined in law.
The world has gone fucking mad Confused

Were something like this to happen, it would be an example of statistics related to women's crime patterns being completely skewed. The crimes he committed are overwhelmingly committed by men - would they now be crimes committed by women? If they were, I wonder what impact that could have on police profiling of suspects?

Well, let's see. He doesn't pretend to want to change sex because he feels like a woman. It's clearly a strategy to achieve another goal (a place in which he feels more save). While the article says he has been attacked several times, thus being in need of protection, same article also says his behaviour is not a victim's behaviour: 'On a high he’ll walk the corridors, mocking other prisoners and acting the big man.'
If he is a 'marked man', like the article also says, why don't they put him in a special section of the prison, without or with minimum contact wth other prisoners? Surely a better solution than putting him (who doesn't even pretend to feel like a woman) in a female prison, risking the safety of women there.

I imagine lots of male prisoners would like to spend their sentences in women's prisons. And as all you apparently need to do to be a woman is choose a female name and "feel" like a woman, I'm surprised that there isn't a mass exodus.

Hmm. I doubt Mr Huntley would get an easier ride in a women's prison anyway. Women, even tough ones, tend not to take kindly to sadistic child murderers.

I don't necessarily think he would get an easy ride either.

But the point is he could transfer to a women's prison just by saying he "feels" like a woman.

What the fuck is going on in the world that that's ok ?

This like a nightmare. I can hardly bare to read anything else about the trans stuff and just feel powerless to stop it. I wrote to my mp three times last year about the Maria Miller bill and he has not bothered to reply. If the policy makers dont give a stuff what chance have got?

I've just skimmed that articles. No names no evidence, lots of former inmates but no names... Really it's just a lot of conjecture and huffle puffing. I can't bring myself to believe any of that article.

And what are these tests exactly?

There might be "testing" now. If the law changes to allow self-determination that will be discriminatory.

Just came to see if there was a thread already on that. Ffs. "No one would ever go theough a sex change to get access to frmale spaces." Yeah fucking right.

I'd hazard a guess he might be even less popular in women's prison than men's.

I think I might hear the world's tiniest violin somewhere in the distance.

He might not be very popular in a women's prison but as an accomplished sexual predator I'm sure he'd find some "compensation" Angry

Fucking hell, when are people going to wake up? We're going backwards.
