you know, this publication:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_(newspaper)
I was on an airline flight yesterday, and they gave out copies of the paper. Just idly flipping the pages, I was impressed with how many women were the subject of news item, and I ended up making a list. Not a bad selection for just one day (you don't have to like them all):
Erin Sandilands, who sued the restaurant where she worked because she was told to dress so as to be "easy on the eye". She won the case.
Angela Eagle, potential Labour leader replacing Jeremy Corbyn.
Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland.
Theresa Villiers, Northern Ireland Secretary.
Sarah Vine, wife of Michael Gove and columnist in the Daily Mail (and unfortunately featured because she wrote an email intended for her husband, advising him on how to deal with Boris Johnson, and let it become public).
Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany.
Marine le Pen, right-wing French political leader.
Amber Rudd, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change.
Luciana Berger, former Shadow Minister for Public Health, before becoming Shadow Minister for Mental Health. Now out of the shadow cabinet and potential Labour candidate for the 1st Metro Mayor of Liverpool City Region.
