Last year was amazing. Denise Marshall's talk was cathartic, brave and affected me deeply. Hope everyone who goes has a fantastic time!

So sorry you can't make it. It costs less than last year to go, and there are some free tickets. But I know there are the travel and other costs as well.

I am looking forward to hearing Betty McLellan this time, the workshop about the use of pronouns for Transgender people, and Shahla Khan who will challenge participants to think about marital rape in the context of women of colour.

Sadly Denise Marshall is dying of cancer. Her talk was amazing last year.

Oh no about Denise Marshall . I've read her books and they were very good. Her second book was a difficult read because of the subject matter but both books showed really well the effect of systematic abuse on people (albeit through fiction).

It sounds a great conference. I will check out my diary!

Yes last year Denise Marshall talked very bravely and movingly about child rape and sexual abuse. It was a very personal talk, so understandably wasn't recorded.
