Spanking

Caning

Aggressive whipping

Penetration by any object "associated with violence"

Physical or verbal abuse (regardless of if consensual)

Urolagnia (known as "water sports")

Female ejaculation

Strangulation

Facesitting

Fisting

A link to the article in The Independent which explains more.

The newspaper claims that the "measures seem to take aim at female pleasure" and that they're "arbitrary" choices to make....I'm not sure what part of the list other than female ejaculation is synonymous with female pleasure though!

The writer is scathing about the bans.

Although veiwers in the UK will be able to continue to watch pornography including the above, it will no longer be legal to make such films here.

I was going to post this ha.

Aside from what I think of porn, I'm particularly unsure why they're banning female ejaculation. Sure, we can't all do it, but some do. Why is this taboo? But male ejaculation is a-okay?

And face sitting? A woman sitting on a man's face is worse than anal sex is it?

That's just really odd. What a bizarre list.

Not sure what to make of it really!

If I remember correctly female ejaculation has been a hot potato in the porn industry for ages, owing to the confusion/conflation of it with urination.

Grays I spoke with DH about this and he said maybe they'd banned female ejaculation in case film makers tried to pass it off as water sports? Seems a bit tenuous though...can't think why it's in there! Why not male ejaculation?

Oh now I've read Amethysts post! Grin

Anyway...I don't think the list is odd otherwise. I think it's GOOD that it's now illegal to make a film showing a woman or man being penetrated with an object....or indeed being pissed on, fisted or strangled!

It's good!

Why doesn't female ejaculation get associated with male ejaculation?

Why does it get associated with urination?

And yes also just realised I have repeated what the last 2 posts have said Grin

claw it just says objects associated with violence, not objects generally.

Just thinking that for lots of women a penis might be an object associated with violence which would mean the end of the porn industry wouldn't it! Although object probably isn't terribly accurate.

It's all just a bit silly isn't it?

Buffy maybe they mean women derive pleasure from inflicting that stuff on men! Although I doubt it....!

The link did have a dominatrix saying well WTF.

Context is everything, isn't it, rather than the acts themselves.

Well, I for one love getting pissed on , so that's a shame. Wink

And what woman doesn't love a good fisting/penetration associated with violence... Confused

GraysAnalogy · 02/12/2014 20:28

Probably because men like it so much apparently seven, but not a lot of women can do it so frequently women in porn pee so they look like they're ejaculating. Not good.

Female ejaculation isn't that common is it. I knew a bloke who went to bed with a woman who did, he was only about 19, he didn't know wtf was going on Grin

Sven no...it means objects in general...the act is associated with violence...that's why "associated with violence" is "" "" it's not clear until you read the whole article though.

Seven presumably because in the context of porn, it's going to be urine, isn't it? I know there's controversy about what female ejaculation actually is, where the fluid comes from and how it's expelled, but that's when a woman is having a real orgasm. In a porn movie, she's going to be faking it, logically, so expelling urine. Unless women who ejaculate are able to do so on demand for the camera?

WRT the other stuff, I agree with you - the majority of spanking, whipping etc in porn is going to be F on M, so the thinking is, "Well it's not her it's hurting." No but she's not getting off on it either, is she?

WRT to the objects, I read it as the object being associated with violence, not the act - so it's cool to show a woman being penetrated with a vibrator but not with, say, a baseball bat or a whip.

I would have thought there are women who are able to genuinely come on film.

Just not that many films calling for it, they're just interested in women pretending to enjoy it and not look too pained.

Not that I have any idea either way really!

Well apart from the odd inclusion of female ejaculation I think this is a brilliant thing. It's actually a huge thing.

I still totally read that as penetration with objects associated with violence eg knives.

There is no way they have banned penetration with any object, think about it! That would mean no vibrators for a start!

I think if anyone is against the list in general then they're perhaps projecting their own sexual preferences onto it.

Like there's a couple of things up there I enjoy in the comfort of my own home with my partner, but I don't want to see another woman have to do it for the enjoyment of others.

I'm glad I understand the difference.

I think it's a positive step forward so I'm happy anyroad

Yes....Seven I see you're right...the objects of violence is in "" "" but the other notes are in brackets....

I don't know either, I may be talking out of my urethra arse, but isn't female ejaculation quite random and not something that even women who do it know for sure is going to happen at any given time?

Report
FloraFox · 02/12/2014 20:50

I'd be happier if it was all banned but this is a start I suppose.

I actually came on here to see if there was a thread about this.

I get the more violent acts like caning etc, and I think it's good, but I was Shock about female ejaculation.

So they can show multiple men ejaculating over a woman in a degrading manner, but not a woman ejaculating. That seems really strange to me. Like female orgasms are disgusting, but male ones are fine, fine, fine.
