What female heroes would you suggest?

I am not feeling very well and have a few ideas but would love input and ideas from you all.

anna from frozen
or brave

what about malala?

Emily Pankhurst?
Marie Curie?

Malala would be awesome but not sure if it could look a bit "cultural appropriationish" or worse black face, if you dress like her. (If the OPisn't a muslim)

She is amazing though.

Op there have been two or three threads in FWR about this psecific thing already. I'll try and find them for you but off the top of my head.

Spider woman
Wonder woman (she can tell everyone she parked her invisible plane outside) grin
Super girl
Bat girl
Merida from Brave is pretty cool and she gets to carry a bow...

Amelia Earheart

Choose someone based on the garments and props you have available. It's easy to suggest people, but trying to cobble a costume together isn't that easy.

Thank you all for the ideas

We have been talking about real life heroes and that is the way I would like to go.

Will have to Google some of these...

I am leaning towards Amelia Earhart - as we live on an RAF base

Malala would be awesome, but not appropriate as we are very white.

Marie Curie? Lab coat and 2 Nobel Prizes. You could print a photo off and stick it onto cereal box card and wear them around her neck like a medal?

FuckOffGerbil Thu 13-Nov-14 17:22:02

Maybe put something together from ideas here then?

We have found dh's safety goggles. I now just need to fashion a flying hat.

My 3 year old dd chose her own superhero costume for nursery today. She wore her brother's old superman costume and called herself *SuperFinola". Nice one.
