Sorry i didnt know what to call this thread. The link is from Mail Online but the original article is in Love It magazine.
I just couldnt believe the way this man and his mates think.
It made my piss boil.
I was pleasantly surprised by some of the comments underneath though considering its the Mail.
Maybe just maybe some of the anti sexism/mysogyny campaigns are starting to have an impact.

Actually having reread it its more than mysogyny. Its psychological emotional abuse.

I was disgusted, but not all together shocked. I work with young people (up to age of 26) in the most extreme deprived areas of Belfast, and this is the way so many of them talk. The girls speak about themselves and other girls in ways that are so disrespectful to themselves, and they don't bat an eyelid when the boys do it too. Most of them are teens though...not like this guy. This guy is just the sort of 'lad' - ie. a grown man who thinks he is a silly teenager - I despise. Wish Josie would kick him into touch.

I read it, and it just made me feel so sad.

It shows how damaging this celebrity culture is. And this man and his mates im guessing are some of the ones who shout insults at women as they walk past them on a night out (either sexual comments or derogatory comments about their looks)
And ive seen threads on other boards here where people have insisted that the pressure isnt coming from men.
This article proves that in some cases it is. And its about more than one man because it mentions his stupid friends as well.
It just makes me feel angry and sad. Its despairing. Its just one of the reasons why we need feminism.
