When I was a teenager in the late 1980's I remember reading alot of books written by women who were at Greenham Common, also in the same series of books were lots of women's portrayals of the miners strike and their roles during that.

I remember thinking at the time how wonderful it was to be female. Now, with my youngest dd starting school I kind of feel the same fulfilled but having some time to myself again.

Does anyone remember the name or know the books I meant and what can I read now that is current feminist thinking. Possibly a beginners guide?!!!

I've just read Caitlin Moran's How To Be A Woman, and it's sent me right off on one.

Now reading The Female Eunuch and have Living Dolls waiting in the wings.
