I'm a bit unsure about this. Children do have fewer rights than adults because (depending on the child's age) they have less understanding of the world and of what might be a danger to them than an adult does. An adult, for instance, has the right to do a bungee jump but a child does not, because the child is a lot more likely than an adult to forget to wait for the safety harness to be attached.

I think children also have different rights, because they have different needs. For example, they have a need to play. Also, they have a greater right/need to be protected from things then adults.

Mainly, I think she's hitting out at why hating/ disliking children and denying them public space harms women. It's telling she's closed comments, because otherwise there would be an epic thread all about children being annoying and this one time in a restaurant blah blah blah...
