Hi all
Bristol City Council has received 3 applications for premises licences which include "performances of dance" between about 5pm and 1am.
I suspect that these are not for performances of ballet!!
We were pushing for the sex entertainment venue policy to be implemented before January 2011 because we feared that there would be a glut of new applications for lap dancing.
I haven't been able to find the detail behind the applications so have asked the council licensing department to confirm what kind of dancing the applications are referring to. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can see the actual application documents? I have been able to hold of planning applications but haven't had much luck with those for licences.
Also, if there is anyone in Bristol who wants to help out with raising objections to the applications (deadline for 2 of them is the 10th November) that would be great. We are in the process of responding to the council's draft SEV policy (less than impressive) and what with the Hooters issue we have been a little swamped.
We are planning to attend the Full Council meeting on 16th November at 6pm to ask a series of questions if anyone else would like to join us or put in their own question.
Thanks
