Breast worry

Hi all.

At the start of February I found a lump in my right breast, about an inch long. I went to the breast clinic and got a biopsy and it turned out to be a fibroadenoma growth.

The lump is still there. Over the past 2-3 weeks I have had lots of pain and intense itchiness in my right nipple. There's no skin issues (redness, dryness) and nothing I do is making it go away. Has anyone else had this before?

I have a mole on my right breast too that seems to have changed shape slightly along with this so I will be making an appointment with my GP next week.

Not sure why I'm posting really, just looking for any advice or similar experiences or a hand hold. Seems like a lot of things all happening at once

I'm 25

I will hold your hand. Sorry not much advice but was referred to the breast clinic myself yesterday. Definitely go back to see your GP. I know how worried you must feel. I have been sick with anxiety, however as a nurse I know these things are treatable the earlier they are caught so try to remain positive and definitely ring your GP Monday morning. Sending lots of good luck and health your way.

@Tiredmum100 Thanks for you. Hopefully you can get an appointment through quickly and it's all good news.

I haven't been able to get through to my GP today, phone lines were down and then lots of queues so trying again tomorrow. Just such a stress isn't it

Hand hold as well it's horrible having to wait anxiously about these things.
Try and put off the worry as you are going tomorrow so no point worrying tonight if that makes sense.
Have a nice treat this evening and do something for you that takes your mind off it.
