Intense pressure against pelvic wall

Hi there, would so appreciate advice. I had what felt like a uti a couple of weeks ago. GP provided some antibiotics, I dropped in a sample which subsequently tested as clear but as I still had the symptoms GP suggested I might have a sensitivity and prescribed another course however these are having no effect and I'm going to the loo every hour even during the night with just a trickle. I felt a tight gripping pain all around my pelvis and very top of my thighs during and after a run this weekend then my period started (bang on time) and I thought it must have been that. Pain gradually getting worse over last few days and I woke yesterday morning (after barely any sleep thanks to loo trips) and couldn't find the tampon I'd popped in night before. Gah! Did I remove it during night? Who knows? Tried to have a feel around for it and nothing. The pain today has been unbearable. My pelvis feels like it's going to explode. It's actually making me feel sick. Is it a 'lost' tampon making things worse? Although the pain had started prior to this. Is it some sudden acute pelvic inflamation flaring up, had nothing like this before although feels very much like the kind of pressure when you're 9 months pregnant. Is it a prolapse? Can't see/feel anything but is it the beginnings of one piling pressure on other organs? Calling GP for sure in morning but any advice/ideas of what it might be would be so appreciated so I don't lie there all night thinking of the most sinister outcome.Confused

Put a towel on the bathroom floor. Wash your hands and apply either lubricant or a neutral non fragranced oil.
Squat down and you can feel with your fingers inside, right up to your cervix in the right position. You should be able to tell if you have left a tampon inside.

It sounds inflamed which could be causing the pressure.

General maintenance of the support muscles in this area is easily achieved with a pelvic toner. It's a bit like a tiny slender tone machine you insert and it exercises for you.

Touch base with your GP in the morning. You might need a different antibiotic.

Ooh thanks @purplebagladylovesgin I'm going to do exactly that. So annoyed with myself for not being able to remember if I took the tampon out. I've just made it more complicated for myself. Was just thinking could it be a burst cyst possibly? It just feels like the front wall of my pelvis is going to burst open. Thank you for taking the time to help Smile
