Name changed as I've also shared this on my Facebook account. I wondered if anyone could spend a minute or two completing a very short survey for my DD's uni project, please. She needs respondents who are perimenopausal, menopausal or post-menopausal.

Done but I have pointed out that “people” don’t go through the menopause, WOMEN do. Let’s own this.
Best of luck to your daughter.

Usually this sort of survey says which university is involved and names a supervisor, with email address, in case of any questions or concerns. This one seems to lack any such academic context, which makes me a little uncomfortable with it.

Thanks, everyone!
Sorry if it's not been set up correctly, Lottie. It's Arts University Bournemouth, but I don't know about supervisor names etc. I wonder if there's been less oversight than usual because of the pandemic. Her outcome will be some kind of awareness-raising campaign or product, based on her research results, as the final project in her graphic design degree. As examples, she's previously done an animation for kids to explain dementia, and an app to help asylum seekers access health services.

Please ask her to change the wording to “women”.
c.f. The House of Lords’ debate last week (maternity bill) if she doesn’t understand why it’s important. I’d be very happy to complete the form if it was correctly worded.

Whatever her own views, I think she might risk being marked down by the people assessing her if she changed 'people' to 'women', in the current environment. But thanks for questioning it - I'll pass on your comments and see what she decides.
