Four months for me. Then I was pregnant again at seven months postpartum.

There's a wide range of normal on this. Anything from four weeks to over two years is perfectly normal as you'll see if you read old threads on this subject.

7months both times. I was pregnant with DD2 by the time DD1 was a year old. Breastfed until 17minths first time, and 2.5years second time.

A month after I stopped BF-ing, at 6 months, for both dc. Don't be sad, it's good to be getting back to normal in a way. Hope it's not a heavy one, they can be a bit over the top for the first couple of months Thanks

5 months. ..I was a bit disappointed as I was led to believe it wouldn't come back till I started weaning!

27 months. I continued to feed until 51 months.

Mine was 6 weeks and I EBF. I think I was very unlucky.

Exactly 4 weeks post birth for my first. Straight back to normal despite exclusively breastfeeding until weaning at 6m, then alongside solids for a further 6m.

7m with my second, despite bf until 14m.

With 2nd DD it was the day she turned 1. She was still breastfed but had cut down. And it was the most horrifically painful period I've ever had, I was ill in bed genuinly thinking I was dying!

With firat DD it was when she 2as 6 months when I stopped breastfeeding completely. Just a nice normal period after that. Bodies are strange!

Well, I bled for four weeks straight after each birth. So it was like all those skipped periods when pregnant had just been deferred. :(

Then I remember my period came back shortly after the post birth bleeding stopped. So straight away for me I would say.

18 months with the first, 11 with the second but I think it's largely luck of the draw as a friend who also bf got hers back at 6 weeks. How well baby sleeps can also be a factor, if you have a baby who sleeps through so doesn't feed for 6-8 hours, that can trigger your period to start. Mine are both terrible sleepers and were fed back to sleep though the night until weaning (around 2 for first, second is 16m and no were near), so that's possibly why I got a bit longer without a period.

About 10 months I think..And my periods have been more regular than ever since then.

Four months with DD1 - was exclusively breast feeding.
Two months with DD2 - again exclusively breast feeding. Felt very short changed this time round!

3 months with all three.

DD1 I EBF till 3 months then combi fed till 5 months, so I thought it was because I started mix feeding.

But DD2 fed every 1-2 hours for the first 6 months of her life and I she was EBF, so that wasn't it.

DD3 was also EBF and my period was back at 3 months.

I might have cried each time.

My sister, however, gets at least a year. It's variable.

Both times about 8 weeks after I started weaning.
