Discharge

Right , so confused about conflicting messages about discharge on the internet . I’m not pregnant, I’ve had children . Not had sex for seven years though . But at certain times of the month my discharge is a light yellow / maybe really really pale green , well looks like this on white toilet paper . I’ve always assumed it’s normal as no other symptoms at all . Is everyone who reads this discharge always the clear or white which is noted as supposed normal? !

I get this at certain times of the month. I always have snd just assumed it was normal . I think if it doesn't have a bad smell it isn't concerning. I also remove bring told yellow discharge can be white blood cells so may be retained of period or period starting?

Hey , thanks for your honest answer . I’ve had too much time on me hands on lockdown googling !
Yes I wouldn’t have thought anything of it had I not googled . Never a itch or smell or pain , just a week before period it turns a kinda creamy yellow colour , I wouldn’t really say green .. but your mind plays tricks and I’m like , is it a bit green ??maybe a bit ?! I dunno . But don’t think I’ve ever had pure white discharge like google claims it should be , it’s always been off white / cream since the word go !
Too much time to think and think I’ve got summit up xx

Google is like ... if you don’t have clear or snow white discharge your not normal .

Glqd I'm not alone in this! I occasionally have discharge that is ever so slightly tinged green (a bit like snot - sorry!!). I'm not too concerned about it as there's no smell

Yes sounds just like mine .. it’s not constant just like yeah occasionally. But disturbing to read when it states it’s not normal . And on any chat sites , ppl are always either not admitting to having it or really don’t have it and saying if it’s coloured get your self to the docs !

This may be TMI but depending on my cycle also depends on the state of my knickers! Confused throughout the month my discharge changes, and over the years Ive actually learnt to tell where I am in my cycle. My ‘worst’ part is usually when I’m ovulating. And I often find my discharge changes, the colour, amount etc.

It can have an aroma on occasion but not unpleasant (if that makes sense). However I am very prone to urine infections, cystitis, BV and thankfully know my body quite well so can usually get on top of issues quite quickly.

I wouldn’t panic or be concerned but if you want to be sure see a doctor. My other advice would be keep an eye on your cycle and changes. Get to know If there is a pattern.

Not too much info , your just being honest and I appreciate that .
I’ve had tests for everything before and fine and smears all up to date . I just assumed discharge sometimes had a colour . Had I not googled , I would not have had one bit of cause for concern .
Isn’t bothersome , does change in consistency throughout cycle , has more of a colour after period and a week before .
Just nice to get truthful answers from people , thank you .

Oh I am exactly the same!! Google is my worst enemy and it always basically tells you you're going to die!! I'm sure it's nothing serious and just part or your normal cycle

Gosh , really makes you feel more normal when ppl say they experience the same eh .
Yeah , I'm really sure it is normal . You just have that little irrational niggle though don't you saying .. but what if it isn't ... what if you're riddled ! And then you doubt yourself .
Maybe doctors on google have to say the worst to cover themselves 🤷🏻‍♀️.
I'm
Sure I've had the same discharge since the beginning of time . Don't think it's ever been white . Maybe cream / clear then sometimes seems yellower .. but then if the light isn't on like it's during the day .. doesn't seem yellow seems more cream but then the same discharge can seem a tiny bit green at night when the lights on 🤣 messes with your head .😂🤣
