Any tips and ideas welcome.
Diagnosed with pcos in August and really struggling with the low carb aspect. I've done these diets before and although they work for me I don't find them good in the long term.
I'm Doing slimming world.
Started metformin in August.
I gained a staggering 2&a half stone last year, after coming after the pill. I'm Assuming the pcos kicked in then...
I've only lost 1 Stone this year.

Been ttc for almost two years now and I know the weight is a big part of it, docs have never said it to me though I wish they would lol might make me try harder.

I am walking lots and working out at home too.
Sorry if there's already a recent similar thread, I couldn't find one.

Hello. I've read and during my phd research too, low carb will definitely help as its linked to insulin. Have a read before you start. Hope it works for you

Some PCOSers find a low GI/GL (glycaemic index/glycaemic load) eating plan helpful and this can be more sustainable in the long term than low carb.

Collette Harris (herself a PCOS patient) has written some cookbooks with PCOS in mind.

Weight anyway should not be a barrier to receiving treatment.
