How long did your 2ww appt actually take in these corona times?

So i found a lump in one breast; saw GP who has referred me to breast clinic on 2ww, told me to ring if i didn't hear from them within 2 days re appointment. I didn't hear so rang the number provided. Have been told there are no available appointments in the 2 week window and they will contact me as soon they have one- no idea when that will be. So now I'm worried it could be weeks-month+.

Just wondering what other peoples real world time scales have been during corona in getting their 2ww appointments.

Thanks

I saw my GP on Monday about a breast lump and I had a message within about 15 mins of being home from the appointment to say that I had a breast clinic appointment the following week. I’ll be going this coming Tuesday. Hope you get seen soon.

Mine wasn’t breast (it was an abdominal mass) but I had a phone consultation exactly 2weeks after referral where they booked my additional scans and blood tests etc... My GP told me that if I hadn’t heard within a week to let her know and she would chase it up. Could you let your GP know and see if they can chase it up for you? The waiting is the worst part so I hope you’re ok.

@Ballsto2020 did you know ahead that they would call you at the2 weeks? Or were you waiting ( wondering) until that call?
Im starting to think its just my PCT which is the problem here. I can call the GP but not not sure how they can magic an appt if there are none.

I was told it would be within 2 weeks and if I hadn’t been given an appointment after 1 week then to let my GP know. I got a call booking the appointment within a week. I had also been referred to a gastroenterologist as they weren’t sure what was wrong with me and I also had that telephone appointment within the 2 weeks. If you are on a 2ww you should be seen within that time so I would try to chase it up if you can, speak to your GP again as they can often do more than you can. All of my appointments were quick really, although it doesn’t feel like that at the time. Where abouts are you located? I’m in Kent.
