Endometriosis - TTC

Hi ladies,
I've had my mirena coil removed which was being used to help calm my endometriosis.
I had a proper period about 3 days after removal which seems right because I've always been told before insertion and removal- even during the appt that everything would return to "normal" right away.
So I'm now on CD 41. Definitely not pregnant as I have had several BFN. No sign of AF whatsoever.
My question is, am I right to contact my GP just to seek advice/make them aware?
I'm worried something is going on but equally I guess I could just have reeeeeally long cycles now?
I feel embarrassed about calling as I know that they will probably just tell me to wait it out, but as we are TTC it feels hard to just sit waiting because we can't try again until AF comes.
TIA for any advice x
