I had baby number 4 a few weeks ago, I knew I had a rectocele and a cystocele since my last child but never had too much trouble with it, although I would occasionally have to splint, the cystocele never gave me any bother. The past couple of days when I have needed to have a bowel movement and pass urine the rectocele (without actually looking, I don't think I could cope with that) is bulging out of my vagina, after I have been it goes down but is still a couple of cms into my opening. I am breastfeeding and have heard this can delay the healing process after a birth. I don't know what to do, when I've broached the subject of prolapses before with friends they don't know what im talking about. I'm feeling very depressed about it.
