Help :-(
I'm in agony.
I posted recently in general health about symptoms which I was convinced was a UTI. Doctor tested my pee, no infection but was put on 3 days of antibiotics anyway. When I called to get my results I was told 'I needed a retest in a weeks time' but no notes to say if there was an infection. I then noticed I started to have a hell of a lot of white odourless discharge (sorry TMI) so I suspected thrush which I tend to get after antibiotics anyway. In that week in between I have taken 2 x 150mg fluconazole and used cream and felt total relief yesterday. It was amazing. Then come the evening the soreness returned and it's absolutely awful. Doesn't hurt so bad to pee, though it still does, but it's the soreness I have. I also have really bad back pain in my right side. I can cope with that but my sore vagina now is really getting me down. Every one at work has commentated today how run down I look.
I really don't know what is going on.
I was told there was no infection, but put on antibiotics anyway. I have also used medication for thrush which only gave me temporary relief, not even a day.
Hoping my results come back ASAP so I can get some answers

I've got similar symptoms to you, but since using a thrush pessary on tuesday night i've not got blood in the discharge too. I've got a doctor's appointment tomorrow, it's really making me panic. Nervous about the appointment too as I've never had any issues downstairs before.

Sounds weird, but try putting live yoghurt on / in . Use a pad as could get messy !

Have you got a kidney infection. Have you been using any soap or shower gel, non cotton knickers, pads, tampons or liners.

I had similar and it was a long tampon. I've also had thrush and live yoghurt did help.

@radiantsoph93 that might be BV (bacterial vaginosis) - a friend of mine gets blood in discharge with that. A course of metronidazole will sort it if it is that.

Thanks @ChipInTheSugar I hope that's all it is. Trying not to Google the symptoms as sends me into anxiety overdrive! It's incredibly itchy too, but discharge is almost like milk tinted with blood, not actually sure if the pessary dissolved properly as had bits that look like washing powder in the discharge too! Sorry for tmi

Have you had a look? Maybe squat over a mirror and see what's happening down there? I'd be wondering if it was something like herpes which sounds rough as hell the first time.

I think in your shoes I'd go to the GUM clinic anyway, it's they're area and they're lovely.

@Radiantsoph93 I think that sounds about right for the pessary. I'm putting my money on bv ...

You can get Balance Activ pessaries/squirty things from Boots etc; and I think Canestan do them too. If it is bv, it's worth keeping a supply of those at home so you can nip it in the bud at the first sign next time.

The back pain is making me wonder if it's a kidney or bladder infection as well.

Hiya. I ended up in the walk in centre. I have a severe UTI with lots of blood present in my urine. So basically everything I told my GP was happening and he argued there was no infection so I've been in agony for 2 weeks now. I ruled out an STI as I haven't had sex in a very long time. But I'm glad an infection has been confirmed as I can start correct treatment now
