Hi everyone ☺
So I have had a cerivcal eorsion for just over a year now. And it has caused me nothing but misery 😔. Sorry to be tmi but Ive basically been bleeding the entire time. I've had scans at hosp smears swabs and numerous examinations so Its good to know it's nothing serious. My question is I've been refered to hospital NHS for treatment but the waiting list is over two years. I've have been back to my doctors a few times and they refuse to send a emergency referral. I wouldn't normally ask them to do that but I also have a skin condition which is being made unbearable due to the symptoms of the eorsion I experience 😢. I have priced how much it would be to go private but to be honest I really don't have that kind of money and would have to borrow or put on a credit card if allowed. So has anyone had treatment and is it worth it. I would hate to owe that kind of money if the chances of it working aren't great 😔
My doctor said treatment rarely works 😢 but I don't understand why they offer it if it doesn't. I just cannot wait over two years and i dont think it will get better on its own in fact. It seems to be getting worse well the symptoms anyways i think my hormones are playing a big part in all this as it had settled down for a while but my skin started to break out quite badly recently and low and below the symptoms returned with a vengance. It's having a huge huge impact on mine and OH private life 😂.. So would love to hear from anyone that has had the treatment and there opinions on should i go privately or not i know everyone is different but i would love to hear people's experiences. I should add im getting married in 2021 and honestly can't enjoy the planning or have any excitement because I just think.. Whats the point if I'll be dealing with this the whole thur the planning the hen the wedding the honeymoon it feels ruined 😢
Thank you ☺
