Hi, yes don’t worry. I had some bleeding during my first pregnancy which they traced back to a polyp on the cervix. It came off during birth so didn’t need anything further doing. Then more recently I had some bleeding in between periods and that was found to be 2 small polyps on the cervix so I was referred to gynaecologist and now just waiting for them to be removed. They did some scans and biopsies just to be sure it was nothing sinister and that there weren’t any others as I’m over 35 so apparently they investigate a little more thoroughly once you’re that age.

Well I'm 36 so that might be why they checked just annoyed that I wasnt told there and then about the polyop made me think they knew it was serious
Will phoning the doc who referred me to have a chat to ask why I wasnt told as I'm sure the nurse never said anything to me about it

Yes that does sound a bit odd! My nurse had a look and told me she could see them and would refer me. Polyps are quite common though so try not to worry. Hopefully the doc can put your mind at rest.

I've been speaking to a few close freinds about it and they say the same thing it will just be precaution etc
I've had abnormal smear tests and had to go and get cells burned away that was years ago and been fine since
I'm wondering if changing from the combi pill to the mini pill then coming off the mini pill last aug might have played it's part in it

Defo going to speak to the doc even if it's a phone call just so I know the facts etc
