Period pains

Hello.
I have had three periods since having my 3rd baby 6 moths ago. They have been very regular but are also very heavy!
I seem to now be aware of a dull rumble all month, from just before ovulation until just into my period. Its not painful really, just a dull ache that comes and goes. Has anyone else had this postpartum? I'm just wondering if it's all still settling down since stopping breast feeding...
