Spotting from 10dpo last 2 cycles

Anyone had a similar experience?

29 day regular cycles. TTC DC2 since August, CP in January. February was a normal cycle but March and April I have started spotting at 10dpo until AF arrives. Never spotted before this - very unusual for me as AF normally just starts when it's due.

Is this upset hormones from the CP? If so, I would have expected it to have happened in February. Or is my menstrual cycle just fucked and that's why I can't get pregnant? I have a GP appointment in 2 weeks but just wondering if anyone has any thoughts. TIA

Hello.... I am 43 and this is something I’ve had for a few years now. I’ve mentioned it a few times to doctors and they’ve never been concerned. I think probably because it’s a regular irregular bleed... if that makes sense? One doc said it’s breakthrough bleeding, as the egg gets released? So I haven’t been unduly worried. I’ll be interested to see if anyone comments on here that it is something to worry about....

I’ve just realised your bleed is at a different time of the month, yours is dpo... so my response probably isn’t helpful. Sorry! Xx

I am no doctor, but if your spotting is 10dpo, it sounds like some hormone level is low meaning the lining of your womb isn’t thick enough? Maybe ask on the Conception forum? They might know. Good luck! Xx

I had ivf... and now I have beautiful little girls. IF.... and it’s a big IF.... you do have a problem, science is an amazing thing and there’s a solution to most problems.

But there probably isn’t a problem anyway.

Good luck xx
