Call back to breast car clinic- worried ☹️

Ok so I’m 24 and about 5 years ago I had 2 very large fiberedinomas removed.

Fast forward to now one seemed to have grown back. I got a referral for the breast clinic where they measured it at nearly 5cm and said they were more or less sure it was another fiberedinoma. They took 3 biopsy samples that day and checked one before telling me the above. This was about 2 months ago.

I left happy enough but then a couple of days ago another appointment for the breast clinic came in the door. Now I’m worried something is wrong because they never mentioned any follow up appointments.

Is it possible they have found something in the other 2 samples that they didn’t in the one they tested on the day?

Does anyone have any experiences that could put me at ease?

They wouldn’t wait 2 months to tell you if there was something bad found in the biopsy.

It sounds very much like they want to see if it’s still there, and if it is they can discuss removing it with you. This is what happened to me when I had a fibroadenoma: an appointment with results the week later (no cancer), and a review about 8 weeks after that to discuss removal.

ElyEloy at my last appointment we discussed removal and decided not to. As far as I was concerned that was that.

My logical brain knows if it was serious they’d be on the ball but the last time I had them removed it took 4 months for them to send me a letter saying that my samples were clear and there was no follow up. But that was with a different trust so maybe it’s just a different way of working.

I know I’m being silly.
