Advice on bleeding please

Hi, needing a bit of advice as unsure what to do. Have problems with cysts on my ovaries and have a an appointment in the next couple of weeks to begin looking for a diagnosis/treatment after a year and a half. Last month my period was almost a week late and then started really heavy (soaking through underwear and clothes).

This month, around ovulation, I had severe cramps to the point where I couldn't move and had to crawl to the toilet when needed. I've now started bleeding 9 days before my period is due, it started as brown discharge yesterday and then this morning started heavy (having to change tampon every hour). Does anyone have any advice or had anything like this before? Thanks in advance x
