Pain and irregular periods

Hi,
Wondering if anybody’s has experienced anything similar or has any information for me. For the past two years I’ve been having irregular periods sometimes I go 5 months without one and then the odd time it will be regular and come three weeks later but this is very rare and they normally come months apart. About 3 months ago I got the most awful pains in my pelvic area to the point I couldn’t stand and had to sit in a ball on my floor for 45 minutes. I eventually went to A&E as I have a really strong pain threshold and knew something was up. They sent me for scans but I didn’t have cysts. About once a week I have pains in my stomach similar to strong period pains but about 2/3 times a month I get the most awful pain in my stomach that lasts a few hours sometimes a full day where I cannot hardly move, my stomach bloats massively and it’s uncomfortable to walk or move around much. I have been referred to a gynaecologist but I’m unsure what they will say or do. My symptoms sound very similar to PCOS but my scan came back clear for cysts.
Has anybody experienced anything like this or have any knowledge on something similar it would be great help!!??
