Driving disqualification...

Daughter had 3 points on her license from being caught speeding last year (shes 21).

This November she got stung for not slowing down quickly enough coming into a 30 zone off a main road- yes we know its her own fault and she could have put people at risk.

However, she then filled out the form to confirm that she was the driver, and heard nothing back until today where she has been officially charged with failure to provide information.

Its looking like a hefty fine and loosing her license (already had three points, another three for speeding, and then 6 for them not getting her form).

Does anyone have any experiences of this?

She's probably going to plead guilty as she has no proof that it was sent- second class stamp and not recorded delivery.

Please Google legal beagles. Lots of advice about such issues. . As far as postage goes - you don't have to prove you sent stuff. They have to prove you didn't - when you use a stamp you are legally allowed to assume it arrives.

She is likely to get an MS90. Failure to disclose information where has a Hefty load on her insurance premium. She will have to disclose this at renewal but unlikely that she will loose her licence
