I read them. I love them. I'm way behind with my collection though, but I'm a major Star Wars geek.

Are any of them suitable for Junior age kids? I browsed one in adult section in library for DS9, but I didn't want to have to read it myself to find out if it'd be ok for him.

The Bounty hunters collections are great.

I prefer the older books, and the books set around the prequels to the ones with the Yuuzhan vong, particuarly as they {spoiler warning}

Killed off Anakin, then Jacen,leaving only Jaina who I've never really been a big fan of.

I like the Rogue Squadron ones! I'd love to know what happened in the end to Kirney Slane and Myn Donos.
(Never thought I'd admit to that! blush

I was less bothered by the Yuuzhan vong ones - they seemed to have lost the light touch that I particularly liked in the Aaron Allston books.
Do you think that there is a huge computer program cross referencing all the characters and what has happened to them so far? How else could all those different writers keep on top of who has done what?

I much prefer the "proper" Star Wars films to the prequel. Celia Imrie used to say that that was the first time her children were proud of her as an actress, when they saw her piloting a starfighter. grin

I love the prequels, though I know that isn't a popular view.
Perhaps because they were the first Star Wars films that I was able to see in the cinema as soon as they were released.

I went to see each prequel three times.blush

Of course the original trilogy are great too. I love Vader.

Didn't realise there were Star Wars books! I LOVE the films, remember going to see 'The Empire Strikes Back' with my Dad and bro. The 1st three are still some of my all time fav films.
Are the books the same as the films or are they set before?
