What is the difference between the
Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier
and
Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier and Sally Beauman?

Which one should i read?

Never come across the second. Go for the first.

Yeah, the first. The second is a modern "prequel" and not a patch on the original.

"Rebecca's Tale" is by Sally Beauman and it is rubbish (I read it last week); so I suspect "Rebecca" by Sally Beauman would also be rubbish.

"Rebecca" by Daphe Du M.. is v good.

I've read Mrs. De Winter by Sally Beauman and it was ok but not read Rebecca by her. Wouldn't bother tbh. What's the point when the original is absolutely fantastic.

Read the original. And then read anything else by DdM that you can get your hands on - My Cousin Rachel, Frenchman's Creek, Jamaica Inn, The Glassblowers, Don't Look Now, The Birds etc etc.

I loved the one By Daphne du Maurier. It was the fist book I read in English (I grew up in Switzerland). Hands up for our teacher who chose such as gripping story for us.

Every woman should read 'Rebecca' it teaches us so much about ourselves!

Don't start reading on a work night - once you start reading it is morning light before you know it!
