just devoured persepolis: fab, funny and very informative.
any other graphic novels recommendations?

I thought persepolis was a bit 'meh'.

Fun Home is very good, and similar (e.g. not SF, no superheroes, very well-written, a memoir).

OOh yes- Persopolis is brill. I read Maus years ago- but it's still so powerful.
Really like Seth's ilustrations- one called It's a Good Life if You Don't Weaken- (I know- strange title, but it's good)
Exit Wounds by Rutu Modan and Fun Home
by Alison Bechdeld are a great read too.

I love graphic novelssmile
