Goodbye Jimmy Choo, by Annie Sanders
It sound as though it could be a Joanna Trollop plot, check out her book list.
Hi all, no, don't worry, it's not the one about the magic pencils and the boy in the house...
It's a fiction about a rich family with a french nanny who move to the countryside, the husband dies in a car crash after his start up gets into difficulty. The rich lady makes friends with a woman from the village and between them they find a recipe for a face cream in an old french diary which they cook up at the kitchen table and become a roaring success.
The village woman has a photographer husband who isn't very nice and it turns out he was lying about being made redundant from his marketing job in the city.
Any ideas anyone? It's been bugging me for days!!
